MDR to be featured on Pacifica Radio’s KPFK 90.7 FM
This Tuesday, November 14, 2006, Mother’s Day Radio will be featured on Pacifica Radio’s KPFK 90.7 FM (98.7 FM Santa Barbara).
The show, Beautiful Struggle, “is an open conversation focused on African American social and political issues, thought, history, inspiration, resistance, and social change,” and airs from 7-8pm PST.
Tuesday’s show will address the images of women as they are being represented in music, particularly in Hip-Hop, as well as the efforts of MDR to rebuild the cultural influences that inform the identity of our youth.
