MDR Coalition

MDR Coalition, thank you for your continued support and ACTIVE efforts on the Mother’s Day Radio campaign.  As the community, you indeed are the Voice, heart and spirit of this movement. 

Teen Outreach Program (TOP) in St. Louis, you are known all over.  I have shared with the community the impact of your exercise of speaking the names of your mothers in songs with denigrating lyrics.  Your quote in the MDR petition is a potent and moving force for many! 

Thank you to filmmaker William Waheed of Jackson, Mississippi for reaching out to the men to stand up and become active in this movement.  Thank you to the Delta GEMS in Omaha for your continued work in creating a play list to provide to radio program managers.  Thank you to CEMOTAP West in Los Angeles for your petition signatures and letters to the artists.  With the efforts of the many, we are indeed moving forward!
